142 Management Trainees (Technical) in SAIL through GATE-2019, the number of posts stands revised to 399 as follows

399 Nos. (UR-161, OBC-106, SC-59, ST-34, EWS-39)

Educational Qualification- 1) Degree in Engineering with 65% marks (55% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Departmental candidates) in Engineering the disciplines of Mechanical, Metallurgy, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation and Mining.
2) The candidates should have appeared in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)- 2019 Examination in any of the engineering discipline papers, namely, Mechanical (ME), Metallurgical (MT), Electrical (EE), Chemical (CH), Instrumentation (IN) and Mining (MN).

Age-Not more than 28 years as on 14 june 2019.

Pay Scale-Basic Pay 20600 in the pay scale Rs.20600 — Rs.46500 (Rs.24900- 50500/- after training)
